The Glaubetz family lived for many years In John Day. Mamie Ferguson re t u r n e d home from Boise where she spent several days visiting her sister, Mrs Bill Foss. Mr and Mrs Alva Wright of Fox visited his sister, Mrs Ed Rounds Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Fred Shank took a truck load of stock to the Red mond sales yard Thursday. Mr and Mrs Jack Slocum of Tacoma, Wash visited with his father, Lee Slocum, who is very ill, over the weekend. Mr and Mrs Jim Croker and Ronny spent the weekend in Sa lem with his father who Is ill. Mr and Mrs M J MacKenzle of Portland were recent guests at the Ed Rounds home. Mr and Mrs Melvln Rounds and two sons of Bend spent several days with his parents, Mr and Mrs Ed Round. Mr and Mrs D M Stuart of North Bend spent the weekend visiting and hunting with their son, who is coach at the school. Ch'et Rounds and Jimmy Simp son spent the weekend visiting here. The couple drove to Ritter look out for their trip as he Is still employed by the state forestry department. Mr Hinckley, Oren Stubble field and Mattie Stubblefleld went to Pendleton Saturday to visit Oren's daughter, Vera Gara ner. who is a Datlent in St An thony's hospital where she had undergone sureerv. Mr and Mrs Milton Morgan and two children and his mother, Georgette Morgan returned home Sunday evening from a visit In San Francisco, California.
