All wore white accessories and corsages of cimbidium orchids. The reception, which followed in the parish hall, carried out the Valentine motif with red and white flowers. After the young couple cut the first piece of the three-tiered wed ding cake, which was encircled with red roses, it was served by Mrs J 0 Turner, aunt of the groom, Mrs Elmo McMillan, Mrs Catherine Brown and Mrs Joseph Miller of Salem, aunts of the bride. Pouring were the bride's grand mother, Mrs Swanson and Mrs Harry Howard of Kent, Wash and Mrs John McLaughlin of Sandy, both aunts of the groom. The McDaniels are leaving to make their home in Hermiston, after spending most of their lives here. Mr McDanlel came to Morrow county in 1894 at the age of 12 from Indiana and Mrs McDanlel was born in Rood Canyon in 1893 and they were married August 28, 1912.
