Make it pay off for him even more generously through V. S. Savings Bonds Nobody has a better birthright than an American child. Born to this land, he shares its abundance and its privileges. His opportunities stretch from the Golden Gate to the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. And he doesn't need a passport to reach any of them. All he needs are the things that you, his parents, can give him care, security, a good education for a richer life. These are the important things you want to save for. And one of the easiest ways to save for them is by investing in U. S. Savings Bonds through the Payroll Savings Plan. Through this plan, money is set aside for you before you gee a chance to spend it. At your company's pay office, you name the amount you can save each payday and it is put into Savings Bonds for you. Here, in its safest form, it can't be lost, stolen or destroyed because the U. S. Treasury will replace your Bonds without charge if anything happens to them. And you'll be surprised at how quickly your money in Bonds adds up to big things such as the down pay ment on a home or tuition for four years of college. Series E Bonds now earn 314 interest when held to maturity, mature in only 8 years and 11 months. So isn't the Payroll Savings Plan a good way to make sure of your youngster's share in America? Sign up for the Payroll Savings Plan where you work today. Part of every American's Savings belongs in U. S. Savings Bonds The V S. Government does not pay for this advertising.
