Mothers Club Studies
Centerpieces At Meet
The Young Mothers club met
Monday evening at the home of
Mrs. N. C. Anderson, with Mrs.
Bill Parsons of Lexington as co
hostess. Fourteen members ana four
guests were present, Mrs. Rod
Murray, Mrs. Merlin Zier, Mrs.
Harry Bongers and Mrs. Ralph
Richmond.
The program was on seasonal
centerpreices for children's and
teenager's parties. Four commit
tees prepared separate center
pieces for an October.November,
and December party and one for
a fall and winter party.
Lte in September the club
held a picnic at the home of Mrs.
Hubert Abrams for the members
and their families, with about 50
attending.
The next meeting will be Mon
day, November 4 at the home of
Mrs. Merlin Wagoner.

25th Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dalzell
celebrated their 25th wedding
anniversary Sunday, October 6
at the the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Clyde Crawford in lone.

and have lived in the lone com
munity all the time.

50th Anniversary
Celebration Planned
A 50th wedding anniversary
celebration will be held Sunday,
Oct. 20 at the Central Grange hall
near Veneta for Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur W. Gammell, former resi
dents of Morrow county who now
live at Veneta.
A family dinner will be held
at noon with open house to be
from 2 to 4 p.m. All friends of
the Gammells are invited to the
celebration.
