Present were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gunderson, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pratt, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dowen, Mr. and Mrs. James Mai Ion, Mrs. L. L. Robbins, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Peters and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Crowley. Later in the evening bridge and pinochle were played. Mr. Stewart was high in pinochle and Mrs. Stewart, low. In bridge Mr. Pratt was high and Mrs. Mai Ion, low. Lexington News The Women's Fellowship group met at the church on Tuesday afternoon. Due to the absence of the president and vice president the meeting was called to order by Mrs. Faye Munkers. The min utes to the previous meeting were read and approved. It was decided to have a potluck din ner in honor of the Breman's who will speak at the church on Sun day. At this time it was de cided to take up a collection of articles for the missions in Mex ico of which Rodney Northrup is in charge. This is for the vacation Bible schools there and I may consist of yarn (any color), neeaies, wnite tnread, colored construction paper, band aids, vitamins, balls, bat, scissors and crayons. PARISH HOUSE Party Honors Eighth Grade Graduating CJass Thursday Last Thursday evening after the graduation exercises for the eighth grade the class enjoyed a dancing party at All Saints Episcopal parish house. Guests other than the class were Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Robbins, Norman Peters, Clarence John son and Richard Willis. Hostesses were Mrs. Oliver Creswick, Mrs. Velma Glass, Mrs. L. D. Tibbies, Mrs. Paul Jones and Mrs. Merritt Gray. Several of the mothers assisted with the refreshments. Farewell Dinner Honors Jack Angels Mr. and Mrs. John Williams entertained Saturday evening with a farewell dinner and bridge party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jack Angel. Clothes for John Runyon Mission at Toppenish, Washing ton will be gathered up and also Christmas cards will be collected for a mission in Japan, to be used in their teaching. Devotion- als were given by Mrs. Campbell and the program was Miss Inez O'Neal, who gave a most humor ous reading. Refreshments were served to 13 members. The grade school held its last day of school picnic on the school grounds on Thursday with a variety of games being enjoyed. At noon there was a potluck dinner. There was a large crowd in attendance. Don Hatfield is spending a few days in Portland on business. Mr. Elmer Peterson and mo ther, Mrs. Elsie Peterson and Mrs. Anna Ball of lone were Lexington visitors on Sunday. Mrs. Lou Broadley has gone to Spokane, Washington for a visit with relatives before returning to her work in Kelso, Washing ton. Mrs. Nita Grey and daughter Mickey are visiting at the Cherry Grey home. Mrs. Grey was teach ing this last year at Ukiah.
