Robbins and Mrs. Norman Peters as co-hostesses. Members showed pictures of their children as babies, discus sed habits of children and played traveling bingo. Refreshments were served to thirteen members and four guests: Mrs. David Eckman, Mrs. Gordon Pratt, Mrs. Paul Warren and Mrs. Robert Abrams. Refreshments were served at the close of the evening follow ing card games and the opening of the gifts. o Church Group Has Card Party Monday St. Elizabeth's Guild of All Saints Episcopal church spon sored a public card party Mon day night at the parish house. Six tables of bridge and five tables of pinochle were in play. Mrs. Don Bellenbrock had high score in bridge and Dr. A. D. McMurdo was low. Mrs. John Brosnan won high in pinochle and Mrs. Bert Kane low. Refreshments of sandwiches, cake and coffee were served. Games were played and prizes won by Tricia Farley and Linda Smith, before dinner and the theater party following. Soroptimists Hear News From England The Soroptimist club met for a sack lunch Thursday at the home of Mrs. Grace Nickerson. Birthday cake was served in honor of Mrs. C. E. McQuarrie, Mrs. Loyal Parker and Mrs. Joe Hughes. Letters were read from mem bers of the Soroptimist Interna tional of Tamworth, England and a tape recording sent to Mrs. Ro bert Penland by the president of the Tamworth club, Mrs. Janet Heathcote, was played so all the club members could enjoy it. o Party Given For Steven Myrick On Third Birthday Mrs. Ray Myrick entertained Thursday (today) with a birth day party honoring her son Steven on his third birthday. Guests were Bobette Jones, Christine Bergstrom, Linda, David and Richard Ekstrom, Cheri O' Brien, Gregory Green, Mike and Trisha Prock, Pamela Johnson, Terry and Kerry Mallon, Teresa Wright and their mothers. 0 - Miss Joyce Buschke Tells Of Engagement Mr. and Mrs. Max Buschke announce the engagement of their daughter, Joyce, to Mr. Glen Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ward of Haines, Ore gon. A March wedding date has been set. Ward is with the State Game Commission in Heppner and Miss Buschke is In the tax office at the court house. Grahams Entertain With Dinner Party Mr. and Mrs. Claude Graham entertained Saturday evening with a dinner party at their home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Spaulding, Dr. and Mrs. E. K. Schaffitz, Mr. and Mrs. John Pfeiffer, Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Ma honey, Raymond Ferguson, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Gribble and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Penland. Sans Souci Rebekahs Meet Friday Evening Sans Souci Rebekah lodge met Friday evening, February 1 for a regular business meeting, with the new noble grand, Miss Esther Bergstrom, presiding. There were 26 members and one visitor present for the meet ing and refreshments were ser ved later by Mrs. Lennie Louden and Mrs. Josie Jones. Dinner and entertainment were furnished for the chamber with student body officers in charge. 'After the meeting, student body officers showed members through the school. Saturday, February 2, the junior class had a food sale, which netted $19.00. Pictures were taken Monday for the Mustang. Groups taken include: annual staff, II club, Pep club, FBLA, Honor Society, Quill and Scroll, student govern ment, basketball, volleyball, cheerleaders, and Home Ec. class. Mr. Cole of Pendleton, Mustang photographer, took the pictures. A list of the week's activities Is: Feb. 4, Echo, there, Volleyball. Feb. 5, Honor Society, 4th period Feb. 5, Student Council, 6th period. Feb. 7, GAA and H Club, 4th period. Feb. 8, Game with Boardman there, Basketball. Feb. 9, Game with lone here, Basketball.
