Page 6 Heppner Gazette Times, Thursday, November 29, 1956 lone News Guests at the Victor Rietmann home Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rietmann and son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rietmann and son of lone, and Miss Ruby Ann Rietmann of Pendleton. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Heimbigner and children spent the holidays at Athol, Idaho where they visi ted her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fink. Another sis ter, Mrs Tony Nichols of Odessa, Wash., returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Llndstrom re. turned home Tuesday of last week from the Hawaiian Islands where they went on the KUMA tour of 8 days. They toured the island of Oahu and Hawaii. The trip was made by plane both ways. Roy went deep sea fish ing and caught a dolphin while there. ADR3 Wayne Gollyhorn flew from Oak Harbor in his pllhe to lone Wednesday of last week to visit his mother, Mrs. Doris Golly horn. He was accompanied by Chief Petty officer, Fred Levy. Guests last week at the Verner Troedson home were their daugh ter, Shirlee McGreer of Eugene, Mr. and Mrs. George Brewster of Redmond, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Troedson of Hermiston and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Mahoney of Heppner. They took their daughter, Judy who has been staying at the Brenner home, back with them. The Allgeiers spent fheir Thanksgiving with her mother, Mrs. Ada Cannon in Heppner. O-KI-ZU CAMPFIRE GIRLS Our meeting this week was to elect officers, the officers were as follows: president, Libby Van Schoiack; vice president, Cheryl Crist; secretary, Darleyn Turner; treasurer, Sandra Campbell and reporter, Shirlee Gaines. We adjourned our meeting and went ahead with the program for the day. This meeting it was correcting our Campfire honor notebooks.
