at the William Rawlins home on
Sunday.
Jim and Harry Swart are visit

derson, in California. Mrs. Ander
son has been ill.
Rev. and Mrs. Charles Wilkes
were Seattle visitors last week.

The Nazarene church will hold
a Bible school August 13 through
17 with two sessions each day
9 to 11:30 a. m. and 12:30 to 2:30
p. m. This will be held at the
Community church.
Dwight Haugen of Portland
spent the weekend here. Mrs.
Haugen and daughters who have
been visiting relatives here for
a week returned home with him.
The Crawford family held a
reunion at Hat Rock Sunday and
enjoyed a picnic dinner and
boating in Milton Morgan's boat.

Mrs. Rov Lindstrom gave a
party in honor of her sister, Mrs
Dwight Haugen of Portland at
her home Friday afternoon July
27. Bridge and pinochle were
played. Those winning prizes
were in bridge, Mrs. Robert
DeSpain, high and Mrs. Robert
Jepsen, low. In pinochle, Mrs.
Arthur Stefani Jr., high and Mrs.
Pete Cannon low. Mrs. Haugen
was presented with a guest prize.
Others present were Mrs. Ernest
McCabe, Mrs. Roland Bergstrom,
Mrs. Delmer Crawford and Judy
Howton.
Mr. and Mrs. John Skuzeskl
and sons of Portland spent last
week with her father, Henry Pet
erson and other relatives.
Miss Sue Neeling of Beaverton
was a guest of Miss Dorothy Dob-
yns last week. They are class
mates at Pacific University.
Weekend guests at the E. M
Baker home were Ron -Barendse
of Hubbard and Miss Carolyn
Moeller and Miss Mary Ison of
Portland, and Jeanette and Seron
Osibov of Colton. The Osibov
children are spending a week
with the Bakers. They all en
joyed a picnic and boating at
Hat Rock Sunday.
