Mrs. Hughes was program chairman and Mrs. Adams had charge of the table decorations. Mrs. Pfeiffer received a prize for earning her money for the scholarship fund in the most uni que way and Mrs. Loyal Parker and Mrs. W. C. Collins tied for the attendance prize. Bridge Club Meets At Angel Home Mrs. Jack Angel was hostess to the Kings' Little Queens bridge club Wednesday evening of last week. High score was rhade by Mrs. Wallace Wolff. Mrs. Lester Wy man was second and Mrs. Herbert Hamilton was low. Miss Nancy Adams Sets Wedding Date Mrs. Floyd Adams announces the wedding date of her daugh ter, Nancy Jean to Mr. Edgar Wallace Malone as Sunday, July 22. Further information will be given at a later date. Mr. Malone will arrive in Hepp ner this Sunday to remain until after the wedding. Plans were made for a picnic to be held on the Fourth of July for all members and families. Those present were Mrs. P. W. Mahoney, Mrs. John Pfeiffer, Mrs, Lowell Gribble, Mrs. Claude Gra ham, Mrs. Paul Koenig, Mrs. Ro bert Penland and the hostess. Former Heppner Man To Marry Saturday News of interest to friends here is the forthcoming marriage of Miss Violet Deborah McFarland of Monmouth to Conley J. Lan- ham of Eugene, former Heppner resident. .The wedding will be Saturday July 7 at St. Patrick's church in Independence, Oregon. A lunch eon reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tetz, also former Heppner residents. Mrs. Rodgers Guest Of Soroptimist Club The Soropimist club met Thurs day noon at O'Donnell's to make the final plans for their annual installation banquet, which was held Saturday evening.
