PONY KICKS By Mary Stewart Many new table games have been received for the junior high recreation room, reports Mrs. Blanch Boulden, seventh grade teacher. The room was started to give the students something to do in their spare time. This week is test week for all Heppner high and grade sru- 1 dents. Only one more set of ! tests are left for the children after these are finished. Those tests will he the finals at the end of the" school year. Speeches were given to the seventh and eighth grade boys' health classes, reported James Mallon, P. E. teacher. Dr. L. D. Baseball practice began March 19 for the grade school boys. Margaret Hughes, Phyllis Bid die, and George Little are the high school librarians now work ing in the grade school library. Mrs. Marie Clary, head librar ian, says that the orders for next year's books will soon be sent in. Approximately $400 will be spent on new library books next year. 4-H Club News JUNIOR LEADERS CLUB A family fun night was plan ned for April 14 to raise money for the I. F. Y. E. fund by the Junior Leaders club. It will be at 8:00 p. m. In the lone Legion hall. The entertainment will consist of modern dancing, old time dancing, card games, games for the kids and a cake walk. Refreshments will be served. Donations will be taken for this International Farm Youth Ex change program. Donna Lingle, an Oregonian I. F. Y. E. that went to Greece was in Morrow county last week. The club met the evening of March 16 at Karl Beach's home. Eight members were present.
