Heppner Gazette Times, Thursday, February 23, 1956 Pcge2 COUNTY COURT PROCEEDINGS Court proceedings for month of January, 1956. the The minutes of the December term were read and approved. Dr A. D. McMurdo w;is appoint ed county physician for the year 1956. The Court reappointed John Krebs of Cecil, Oregon to the Hospital Board for a period of 5 years. The Heppner Gazette Times was declared to be the official newspaper of the County for 1956. Howard Bryant was appointed a member of the County Budget Committee Board for a term of 3 years. The County Court accepted the bid of the Shell Oil Company as the lowest and best bid offered for gasoline and diesel fuel oil for the year 1956. The Court ordered the amount of $3,993.56 in the Bond Sinking Fund and the amount of $4.71 in the Bond Interest fund transfer red to the General Road fund.
