The admission is 75c per couple and 50c per person. The music has a surprise. Shop News In shop this semester some of I tne students are nnisning up some nice projects. Ernie Drake is making a mahogany coffee table. Wayne Ball is making a ball peen hammer on the lathe. Bill Brannon is making a book case. Bill Salters is making a round coffee table. Jim Pryse is working on the arc welder. The girls have demonstraed their art with their drawings and paintings in school. It gives us the Christmas spirit. Tara Louise, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Crawford of Hermiston was christened at the Trinity Lutheran church in Her miston Sunday Dec. 18. The spon sors were Mrs. Milton Morgan and Helmuth Hermann. Those at tending from lere were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. Hermann and son, Helmuth, Crawford. A reception was held Miss Nadine Ruhling, Mrs. Wate afterward at the Crawford horne in Hermiston. Those from here who attended the Zone Rally of the Nazarene church in Pendleton last week were Rev. and Mrs. Wilfred Mc Kay and son Niel, Mrs. Ralph Crum and son, Jack and Mrs. Ruby Nichols. Mrs. E. M. Baker entertained her Sunday school class with a party at her home Monday even ing. Mrs. Cleo Drake and grandson, Michael Rowell and Mrs. Eldon Tucker and daughters spent a couple of days in Pendleton last week. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lun dell gave a dinner party Friday Dec. 14 in honor of Mrs. Lundell's and Milton Morgan's birthdays. Others present were Mrs. Morgan and children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pettyjohn and children, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Bristow. Arthur and Rollo Crawford spent a few days in Portland. Kenneth Brenner underwent surgery in Portland last week. His mother, Mrs. C. E. Brenner is with him. &5 R.g WA CAN TE KA CAMP FIRE GIRLS The Wa Can Te Ka Camp Fire stoud met Thursday. December 15 at the Erwin Anderson home for their Christmas party. We had an exchange of gifts and refreshments of hot dogs and hot chocolate were served. It's wonderful to find, in the midst of things, a sea son like Christmas time, when all are thinking of peace on earth, good will to men.
