The minutes of the July term was read and approved. The Court approved a donation of $100.0o to the Oregon Centen nial Committee for use in pro moting the Oregon Centennial in 1959. The Court accepted the bid of Charles Vaughn, Heppner Garage for tires for the Road Department. The Court appointed Jack Van Winkle to the Pioneer Memorial Hospital Board. The Court ordered $9,866.93 transferred from the Motor License Fund to the General Road Fund. The Court ordered that $665.00 be paid to the State Game Com mission, to be matched by the State Game Commission for pre datory animal control. The Court ordered that $785.00 be paid to the State Treasurer, to be matched by the State De patrment of Agriculture for pre datory animal control. The Court leased to Oliver Cres- wick for the period of one year, 50 acres for the sum of $100.00. The Court ordered that all County Offices be closed upon Saturdays except as required by law.
