Restoration Shared The restoration is principally the work of the Washington state parks and recreation commission, together with the national parks service, and with the support of the Fort Simcoe at Mool-Mool Restora tion society at Yakima, Wash. The Indians are very much in the picture, because the site is on the Yakima Indian reser vation. It is under a lease agreement with the Yakima Indian nation that the fort is being restored as a monument to the Indian wars. Progress so far on the proj ect includes restoration of the commandant's house and one officer's home as well as razing several later structures to al low more room for picnicking.
