Turner; vocal solos, "Love's Old Sweet Song" by Mrs. Fred Hoskins, Jr. and "Put on Your Old Gray Bonnet" and "Bless This House" by Oliver Creswick accompanied by Mrs. Turner. A quartet, "I Want a Girl Just Like the Girl Who Married Dear Old Dad" was sung by the John Parker children accompanied by their mother, and Bucky Parker sang "God Will Take Care of You' accompanied by his sister, Ce celia. Mrs. Tom Wilson played violin selections accompanied by Mrs. Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Parker cut the first piece of a three-tiered wed ding cake of pink and white topped with a golden fifty. Serv ing was continued by Mrs. Vawter rarker, Mrs. Clyde Crawford and Mrs. Parker Severs. Pouring at the coffee table, beautifully decorated with yellow iris and roses, were Mrs. Lester Doolittle and Mrs. Earl Soward. The flowers were from the yard of Mrs. Charles Vaughn. Serving at the punch bowl were Mrs. John Parker, Mrs. Leonard Schwarz and Mrs. W. C. Kennedy. Assisting about the rooms were Mrs. Raymond Ferguson, Mrs. J. O. Turner and the grandchildren. Mrs. C. C. Carmlchael was In charge of the guest book. Before making their permanent home on their ranch just below Heppner In 1918, Mr. and Mrs. Parker lived at Pendleton, Cove, Hell's Canyon where they ran cattle and Thllomath In the Willamette valley. Other relatives at the anniver sary were Mrs. Parker's brother, O. G. Crawford, Gearhart; nieces and nephews and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jones of Pasco; Arthur Crawford, San Francisco; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hayes and son, Leland, Joseph; Mrs. Roy Jones, The Dalles; Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Tumor, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ferguson and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schwarz and Len Ray, Heppner. Also pre sent were Mr. Parker's niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Kennedy, Stephenson, Washing ton and her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Tarker Severs, Condon. Cousins and their families present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Conover, Vancouver, Washington; Mrs. Maxine Nelson, Yakima; Mr. and Mrs. Forest Conover, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Conover, Mrs. Myrtle Russell and Mrs. Delia Brunson, Waltsburg. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Sprague, Salem, Mr. and Mrs. Claron Ghormloy, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Ghourley, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Van Hoomissen, Tort- land; Mrs. Percy Hughes, Milton Mrs. Elsie Lasater, Tendle- Mr. and Mrs. Tarker were the recipients of many lovely gifts Including one from the Eastern Star and an anniversary clock from the Christian church pre sented by Mrs, Koy Keill. Dr. and Mrs. E. K. Schaffiti had as their guests on Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Ragland of North Bend, Oregon. Donna Lovgren Weds Robert Peterson At Valby Church By Echo Palmateer At a candlelight ceremony at the Valby Lutheran church Sat urday June 11, Miss Donna Lov gren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lovgren of Heppner, be came the bride of Robert Peter son, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peterson of lone. Rev. Edwin Svendsen of Corvallis officiating with the double ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gown of white net with a bouffant embroidered net over skirt and a fingertip veil of net caught with a tiara of ivory step hanotis. She carried a single or chid centered in stephonits and white streamers on a white Bible. Her maid of honor was Judy Wright who wore a blue voile bal lerina dress. Bridesmaids were Joan Thomas, Barbara Prock, and Karen Prock, who wore pink strapless ballerina length dres ses of net over taffeta with net stoles. They all carried nose gays of Esther Reed daisies. Ted Peterson, brother of the groom, was best man and ushers were Larry Lovgren, Herbert Pet erson and Gerald Peterson. The candlelighters were Kay Keith ley and Alice Peterson. They wore apple green dresses. The flower girl was Marsha Lovgren who was dressed in pink organdy and Stephen Skuzeski was ring bear er. Mrs. Lucy Peterson, accompan ied by Mrs. Charles Ruggles, sang "0 Promise Me" and "The Lord's Prayer." Mrs. Ruggles also played the wedding marches. The mother of the bride wore navy blue with white accessories and a white rose corsage and the groom's mother wore a charcoal dress with pink accessories and a pink rose corsage. A reception followed in the parish house. After the bride and eroom cut the first niece nf tho two tiered wedding cake which was topped with bells and a miniature bride and groom, the rest was cut by Mrs. Al Lovgren, assisted by Mrs. Opal Adams. The groom's cake was served by Mrs. Robert Lovgren. Mrs. Owen Leathers poured and Mrs. James Lovgren presided at the punch bowl. Mrs. Marshal Lov gren was at the gift table and Dean Lovgen and Phyllis Peter son had charge of the guest book. The bride's going away suit was pink with black accessories and she wore her orchid. After a short wedding trip they will be at home in Heppner. Relatives coming from a dist ance were Mr. and Mrs. John Skuzeski and sons of PortlaTid, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Peterson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Peterson and son Allen of The Dalles and Mr. and Mrs. Rod Kvi st ad of Beaverton. Sans Souci Rebekahs Have Initiation Members of Sans Souci Rebe- kah lodge met Friday night for initiation ceremonies. Those ini tiated were Mrs. Jack Sumner, Mrs. Mildred Tucker and Mrs. Ad Moore. Refreshments of birthday cake and coffee were served in the din- ng room by the committee with Mrs. Robert Dobbs in charge.
