and Ray Anderson was appointed
to see about membership cards
and a motto for the club, to be

There will be a special meeting
of the club on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 8
p. m. at the school cafeteria.
There will be a short business
meeting, with the rest of the
evening for entertainment. Each
member is to bring a guest, and
all others are welcome to attend
the meeting. Object is to ex
plain the aims and ideals of the
club, and try to get more people
interested.
The grade school operetta, "The
Heart of the Forest", was present
ed Friday night in the school
gymnasium. List of characters

went to Condon Friday to attend
a joint meeting of superinten
dents and school board members
from Morrow, Gilliam, Sherman
and Wheeler counties.

went to Portland last week to at
tend the state convention of
county officials.
Greenfield grange met Satur
day night at the hall, starting
with a potluck supper at 6:30.

and Mrs. Ed Kunze. Officers
were elected for the next year as
