Notice is hereby given that at the School District Bond Election hereby called to be held at the School House in and for School District No. 1 CJ, of Morrow County, Oregon, in the City of Heppner, County of Morrow, Ore gon, on the 10th day of Septem ber, 1954, between the hours of 2 o'clock P. A petition bearing the signa tures of 406 residents of Morrow County requesting the Court to keep Paterson Ferry in operation, the Court agreed to submit an option which would enable them to investigate and possible pur chase. The Court accepted the bid as the lowest and best bid offered of the McCormack Construction Company of Pendleton of $100, 792.00 for the construction of an addition to Pioneer Memorial Hospital. This bid was approved by the Public Health Service. The Court did provide and ap propriate the sum of $7,920.00 for use in and about agricultural or farm demonstration and field work in Morrow County, during the Fiscal Year July 1, 1954 and ending June 30, 1955. The Court allowed the follow ing Bangs Disease Claims: John J. Glavey, $40.00; Harold L. Rash, $16.00; W. Howard Cleveland, $19.88; and John J. Glavey, $24.00. The Court appropriated the sum of $7,920.00 to be used in Agricultural and field work, sub ject to the supervision of the State Agricultural College of the State of Oregon. The Court appropriated the sum of $850.00 to be matched by the State Department of Agricul ture in the control of predatory animal control In Morrow County, Oregon. The Court appropriated the film of $720.00 to be matched by the Oregon State Game Commis sion for predatory animal control in Morrow County, Oregon.
