weighing 1465 lbs., and bringing
$11.50 cwt.. Delbert Anson, mana
ger of the sale, reports.
Volume of cattle consigned in
usual preholiday decline brought
a figure identical to that of a
year ago, 212, which compared
with 380 consigned the previous
Friday. Also consigned Friday
were 75 hogs compared with 74 a
year ago and 48 a week ago, 13
sheep compared with 84 and 38,'
and two horses. Prices were
steady to somewhat lower, except
for harder finish cows, canner-
cutters up 20c cwt. to a top of,
$10.80.

mand which would have taken
hundreds more cattle, Anson said.
