Boy Scout Week By
Soroptimist Club
Boy Scout Week was honored
ly the Soroptimist club at their
mooting at O'Donnell's Thursday
noon.

progressive rank in Scout work
were guests in recognition of the
1-llh year of Scouting.
The Boy Scouts present were
Jay Sumner, Bob Mahoney, Brent
Beng'son, Bob Huffman, Len Ray
Schvvarz and Butch Laughlin.
Kaeh boy spoke on what he had
to do to earn his rank and Butch
and Len Hay gave a demonstra
tion ff the pressure and arm lift
method of artificial resperation.
The Soroptimist club paid tri

who are carrying almost the en
tire load of Scout work In this
community.

son. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Davis were
in Kin7.ua Tuesday. Mr. Davis
has accepted employment there,
and he and his family will soon
move to their new home. On
Wednesday, they made a trip to
Heppner.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McDaniel
and Stevie of Hardman. visited at
the Emmett Davis ranch on Tues
day. James Campbell took his father

is recovering and is expected to

Leroy visited with her parents.
