THE LENA COOKERETTES The meeting was held at the Martin home alter school April 21. Vice president Francine Francis called the meeting to order. Joann Brosnan gave a demonstration on white sauce. Since we are supposed to make a sponge cake to exhibit at the fair this fall, we are going to make a cake at each meeting from now on for practice. Our leader Marie Martin, made a cake to start us out. The next meeting will be May 4. Refreshments were served of creamed tuna on biscuits, cream puffs and kool-aid. Meeting was adjourned.
