Mrs. Wilbur Akers returned home from the Fioneer Memorial hospital in Heppner Monday whore she was a patient follow ing surgery. Her mother, Mrs. Anna Kearns of Siletz is staying with her. , Leo Crabtree of Salem is work ing for Lewis Halvorsen. He is a brother of Mrs. Halvorsen. Pribyl of the filter cen ter in Portland. Dennis Swanson played a cornet solo accompanied by Mrs. Cleo Drake, Mrs. Noel Dobyns had charge of the pro gram. At the business meeting it was voted to give a scholarship to a 4-H summer school student. Mrs. Milton Morgan reported that $135.85 was taken in on the P-TA Food sale and Mrs. Garland Swanson reported that $360 was taken in at the band dance. Fred rick Martin gave a report on the state convention in Medford that Mr. and Mrs. Gordon White. Mr. and Mrs. David Raskin and daughter spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Robert DeSpain in Echo.
