It would heln them very much in 4-H leadership, as well as in their own operations on their ranches. Several new projects have been added during the past couple of weeks. NATIONAL PRESS tUUDINO WASHINGTON, 0. C. If Ann Good Dramatize your new moulded coiffure with bold earrings. Chunky metal ones are perfect for suits; for dress-up evenings I like the jeweled ones, particularly the delicate sprays that look like dia mond snowflakes. t Mighty good to serve with a golden brown loin of pork Is a sweet potato and apple scallop, made this way: Cook separately in boiling water sweet potatoes and sliced apples till almost done. In a greased baking dish place sliced potatoes and apples in layers. Sprinkle layers with cinnamon, brown sugar; dot with vitaminized margarine. Pour over all a bit of apple water. Bake in a 350 oven about one hour. If you want a pretty dress to brighten up your Christmas holi day wardrobe, consider a Jersey in one of the delicious bon bon colors that are so stylish now. Mind if I remind you of an old favorite salad that's perfect when fresh fruits go sky high? It's can ned pear halves, icy cold, cozlly nested in a lettuce cup. On top of them goes a generous dollop of real mayonnaise, then a sprink ling of grated yellow cheese. Even the menfolk go for this tempting salad. A few tips on pie pastry making: Use a pastry blender for cutting in fat; a fork seems best for mixing in water. Never stretch pastry; make several slits in top crust to allow steam to escape. .
