Newest 4-H Agricultural club is the lone Livestock club, organ ized last Sunday afternoon at the E. M. Baker farm. Five new mem bers were added to the club, which has an enrollment of four teen, with more expected to join. Something new in the way of leadership for the club was work ed out for the first of its kind here. With mixed projects in the club making it difficult for one leader to prepare for all meetings, three leaders were selected. The leaders are: E. M. Boardman News The Marshall Fixture Company Payette, Idaho, installed new pews in the Boardman Commun ity Church this week, including pews for the choir loft and a new pulpit. The excavating for the new school gymnasium has been com pleted, the work being done by the Shockman and Sons contract or, Hermiston, and the forms are being made for the foundation. From now on there will be much movement around the school grounds. Little Jeanette (Cookie) Hiigel, Hood River is spending several days with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Skoubo. Mrs. Clara Gertson, Heppner was called on the project Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Crocket and son Skippy returned from Oregon City, after a few days there with his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Crockett. Mr. and Mrs. Russell DeMauro and daughters, Hood River, spenl the weekend at Irrigon with rela tives. Tuesday evening dinner guests at the Ralph Skoubo home were Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Wells, Hood River, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Skoubo and son David and George Stal cup.
