Solemn Requiem Moss Celebrated In Heppner A Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated in St. Patrick's church in Heppner on October 21 honoring Mrs. Mary McCormack, recently deceased mother of the pastor, Rev. Francis McCormack. The celebrant was Kev. ivicur- Peter Duignan, Hood River; Wil liam Stone, Baker; Thomas Mc Teigue, Prineville and Michael Ahem, Redmond. C. .innes home over the weekend from their home in La Grande Mrs. Dan Wav is at her home after several weeks stay In the hnsnital in Heppner Junior Christian Endeavor met for the first time in the Christian Church in Lexington with Mrs. Douglas Trice in charge. At this time the youngsters enjoyed sing ing, a lesson and flannel graphs, nre shown. These meetings are at 4 n. m. and all youngsters who are interested are urged to attend. Several people from Lexington attended the giving of the de gree of chivalry at Pendleton at the Oddfellows Lodge Saturday night. This was indeed a beau tiful ceremony with a delightful program, which was enjoyed by the following who attended: Mrs. A. F. Majeske, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. McMillan. Mr. and Mrs. George irvin.
