Don Anderson completely wrecked his car last Tuesday evening when he hit a calf on the highway. He was meeting a truck and was blinded by the head lights. No one was hurt. Mrs. England plans to go by way of Los Angeles on her return trip. Friends in Monument of Nels Knighton of Hardman were shocked to hear of his death last Saturday. At the time of this writing, it has not been learned the date of the funeral services. Mrs. Richard Cox of the Gil more ranch had the misfortune to severely sprain her ankle last Saturday. She was taken to the John Day medical center for X rays. It was feared at first some bones might be broken. Mr .and Mrs. Mead Gilmore Sr., took their son Donald to La Grande on Tuesday, where he registered at the Eastern Oregon College. Donald plans to major in forestry. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Faulkner drove to Heppner last Tuesday. Mrs. Faulkner consulted her phy sician while there. Shirley Mae Fleming stayed with their child ren while they were away. NITE CRAWLERS?
