Copies of the form of contract are available in the office of the District and the form of proposed contract appears in full attached to the minutes of the Board of Directors adopted on the 17th day of May, 1952, by which the Board approved the proposed amendatory repayment contract and called tnis special election. The form of contract and resolution are open to in spection bv any elector of the Dis trict who is qualified to vote in this special election. The proposed amendatory repayment contract when executed by the parties there to, stated in general terms, will contain provisions relating to the following matters, among others: (a) Restating the District's obligation, rights and privileges with respect to the construction, operation and maintenance, and repayment of the West Division of the Umatilla Federal recla mation project, and amending and superseding all prior con tracts between the District and the United States with respect to such project.. (b) Reducing the Districts maximum repayment obligation from in excess of $1,000,000 to $233,175.09. (c) Establishing the District's! annual construction charge at $1,426.50.
