For An Annual Observance
Revival of the annual Memorial Day service
by the ex-service men's organizations is commend
able and although started a little late this year it
is a good start and should be a part of each year's
program.
' Decoration Day was set apart as a day to honor
the departed, not alone those 'who gave their all
in defense of their country, but for those who i
contributed to the welfare of humanity while pass
ing this way. It is the privilege of the living to
pause for a time and reflect over the memory of
those who have departed, to take a few hours to
tidy up their eternal homes, and spend another
hour in offering thanks to Him by whose grace
we are permitted to enjoy the fruits of their
labors.
