Mr. and Mrs, Claud Hill and fa- mily of Portland spent the holidays visiting relatives at Heppner and Lexington. Mr. Hill recently re ceived his discharge from the army. Miss Majo Marquardt spent the holiday season at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mar quardt. .Majo is attending Eastern Oregon College of Education at La Grande. Miss Patty O'Harra spent Sunday with, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newt O'Harr. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. .Carmichael spent Thanksgiving with relatives in Portland and vicinity. Guests over the Thanksgiving week-end at the A. M. Edwards home were Miss Edith Edwards of Spokane, Mr. a.nd Mrs. H. M. Marrs of Palo Alto, Calif, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Taylor of Portland.
