One of the American housewife's

to supply electric water heaters
for the Heppner area as soon as
materials and manpoer permit.
At present electric water heaters
may be ordered only through pri

TOWN AND FARM
WOMEN BEATING CITY
FOLKS AT FAT SAVING
Our government knows that
city women have done an out
standing job saving used fats
but, now that you town and farm
women have rolled up your
sleeves, you are providing more
used fats per kitchen than any
other group in the U. S. Keep
It up! 100,000,000 more pounds of
used fats are needed this year to
help make vital war supplies.
Without your record savings,
we'll never make that quota.
Save every drop! Remember,
It's the small amounts that fill
the salvage can faster. Drip
pings, skimmings, scrapings, and
fat scraps melted down. Your
butcher will give you 2 red points
and up to 4 a pound. If you have
any difficulty, call your Home
Demonstration or County Agent.
Approved by WFA and OPA.
