CHURCH GROUP HOLDS
The Willing Workers of the
Church of Christ held an all-day
meeting Wednesday, devoting the
forenoon to a business session and
the afternoon to a missionary
meeting.
A luncheon with a cake honor
ing those whose birthdays come in
July was enjoyed at noon.
These are busy times
especially so for the one
who has to plan and pre
pare the meals for the
family for she too is do
her share of war work.
It will be a boost to her's
and the family's morale to eat out occasionally
to enjoy one of our STEAK DINNERS, or an
oyster supper, or any one of the wide variety of
excellent meals to be found on our bill of fare.
Come any time . . . we're always prepared.

Paper Shortage Grows Acute!
1 Don't wrap or bag an article which is already so packaged that the
customer can carry it safely.
2 Make each bag carry its full load. Don't use a large bag or sheet of
wrapping paper when a small one will do Fill bags already furnish-
, ed customers for additional purchases.
3 Avoid wrapping truck delivery which can be carried safely with
out wrapping. When wrapping is needed, use salvage material if
possible.
4 Wrap only for protection, not appearance. Don't use a bag within a
bag.
5 Ask customers to bring own paper bags in which to package their
purchases and shopping bags in which to carry them.

7 Reuse all usable boxes and wrapping materials received from sup
plies. 8 Don't over tape or over seal packages.
