DAILY VACATION BIBLE
At a meeting Tuesday evening
final plans were made for the Union
Vacation Bible School. Classes will
include Bible stories and characters,
memory work and music. Hand
work projects will be an attractive
feature for the older groups. There
will be two divisions of two classes
each consisting of beginners or pre
school age through grammar school.
Classes begin Monday, August 24
in the Church of Christ basement at
9 a.m. Beginners and primaries will
be dismissed at 11 a.m. and the old
er division at noon. School will be
held five days a week for two weeks.
All interested are urged to be
there promptly Monday morning for
CHURCH OF CHRIST
Martin B. Clark, Pastor
The church has been the scene of
considerable activity in the past
week. Groups of men, headed by
no other than that young man, Tom
Humphreys, have been repairing
the church roof. Tom, as the rest
of the boys know him, guarantees
no leaks, so there will be no excuse
for you're not attending church this
winter. Remember regular services
in the morning but evening services
are dismissed because the pastor will
be at boys' camp with six of the
boys of the church this Sunday.
Junior Endeavor will be held at the
home of Marie Barlow.
