Corral I is to be Mecca For State Scientists Oregon State College This cam pus is expected to be the Mecca for biological scientists and science stu dents from all over the state Sat urday, March 4, when Dr Charles Atwood Kofoid, world-famed biol ogist of the University of Califor nia, will lead a biology colloquium on the theme, "Recent Advances in Biological Science." This scientific meeting is spon sored by Phi Kappa Phi, national scholastic honor society, in cooper ation with the school of science at OSC and Sigma Xi, honorary re search society. The forenoon session will deal with genetics and plant and animal hormones, and the two afternoon sessions with plant viruses, living cells, minerals and vitamins, hu man pathology, and chemotherapy. At an evening banquet Dr. Kofoid will give an address on "Trends in Biological Science."
