W. C. Isom and daughter, Mrs.

iness visitors In Portland Monday
and Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Alquist from
Vale have been visiting friends and
relatives here the past week. They
were enroute from the coast to their
home.
Mr. and Mrs. O. Coryell and Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Horner attended the
Round-Up at Pendleton Saturday.
Baptismal services were held by
the Pentecostal people Wednesday
afternoon. A large crowd from
Heppner attended and fourteen
persons were baptized. Rev. Jones
of Auburn was In charge of the
services.
Miss Vonna Jones, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Jones, and Miss
Billy Markham, . daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Markham, left Sun
day for Walla Walla, where they
will attend Whitman college.
Mr. Fletcher and son from Hood
River and Vern Larson, a nephew

Federal Land Bank of Spokane owned
by the lone National Farm Loan Asso
ciation and pledged as security for said
loan be retired and the par value there
of applied upon the indebtedness se
cured by said mortgage; that the mort
gage described in plaintiff's amended
complaint be foreclosed and the mort
gaged premises be sold in one parcel in
the manner prescribed by the laws of
the State of Oregon and the practice

You and each of you are further noti
fied as the respective owners of the le
gal title of the several tracts of prop
erty hereinabove described, as the same
appears of record, that Morrow County,
Oregon, the plaintiff above named, will
apply to the Circuit Court of the State
of Oregon for Morrow County for a de
cree foreclosing its tax Hens against all
of the property above named, described
and mentioned in this summons.
You and each of you are hereby sum
moned to appear on or before the 30th
day of September, 1935, and defend this
action, or pay the amount due plaintiff
upon its Hen, together with costs and
accrued Interest; and in case you fall to
do so a judgment and decree will be
rendered against you as your Interest
may appear In the tabulation aforesaid,
foreclosing the lien of plaintiff for taxes
and costs against the tracts of land
above described.
All process and pnpers In the pro
ceedings may be served on the under
signed, residing in the Stute of Oregon.
at the address hereinafter mentioned.
