Kendler of Umatilla, were bus iness visitors In Portland Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Alquist from Vale have been visiting friends and relatives here the past week. They were enroute from the coast to their home. Mr. and Mrs. O. Coryell and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Horner attended the Round-Up at Pendleton Saturday. Baptismal services were held by the Pentecostal people Wednesday afternoon. A large crowd from Heppner attended and fourteen persons were baptized. Rev. Jones of Auburn was In charge of the services.
