Personal Mention Mrs. Henry Peterson was hap pily surprised Wednesday after noon, April 1, when three of her neighbors, Mrs. Henry Baker, Mrs. Oscar Peterson and Mrs. Leonard Carlson dropped in to spend a few hours with her and to remind her that it was her birth day anniversary. Kefrshments were serred by the self invited guest. The Missionary society of Val by Church at Gooseberry will meet at 2 p. m. next Sunday, April 12, at the home of Mrs. Charles An derson. Tho consolation prize consisted of a raw potato. Every one participated in a game of bingo before supper was served. Refreshments consisted of ice cream, cake and coffee. ' STUDENT BODY MEETING At the student body meeting April C, the secretary and treas urer's report was read. A change of the High School Constitution concerning ammendments of ath- ftltution. Also the proHem of transportation of typing contesn ants to Pendleton was given con sideration and it was decided that it should be paid by the Student body. Transportation wa3 reported at a nominal cost. An almost unanimous decision fos the High School to present Social Events Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hale were hosts at a pleasant dinner party Sunday.
