MRS. L. P CARLE
Funeral service! for Mn. Luvl
ni P. Carle, who died at her
4 home, Sunday, April 1, were held
at the Congregational church
Monday Afternoon.
Mrs. Carle was born Due. 13,
1852, in Decatur, Michigan. She
married Thomas J. Carle, March
31, 1880, In Cuss Co., Missouri
moving to Weaton, Oregon where
aha lived a few years. After li v

Morrow County
As a candidate for the office
of county sheriff, 1 stand for
economy with tax payers money;
for the eighteenth amendment
and its enfordment; for the curb
ing of the crime wave, and for
the enforcement of the law with '
out fear or lavor. , '
During the world war I served '
eighteen months in the United
States Marine Corps, who have
for their motto "Semper Fidelia"
meaning "Ever Faithful" and in
that service I learned the faith- '
ful performance of duty.
