Grabill COUNTY COURT HEARS PETITIONS ALLOWS NEW ROADS The Wednesday session of County Court was largely attend ed bv residents of lone and Fair Iview and much of importance to his section was put through. ' A petition asking for annexation of 9 sections of ' farm laud was presented by Fuirview wherein lone District number 35 would have IcBt about $1500 taxes was opposed by Mrs. Bert Mason, M. R. Morgan, and Ceorge Ritchie, directors, and Bert Mason who 'presented a remonstrance con jtaining &7 names while the with Idrawal petition had but three 'petitioners from the affected territory. As there are but three children residing there and those have free bus to their door each and mould have to go threa and one half miles to reach Fairview, the petition was voted down. The petition of II. M. Olden and others for a road leading trom the top of Lum Rea Hill down thecanyon past Herb Old- en's to connect with the Rea Creek Fairview Road ntar the John Brenner place, was allowed. The petition of C. E. Carlson and others for a road leading from the J. E. Peterson bridge down the canyon two and s half miles to connect with ihe lone- Gooseberry Market Road near the foot of Rattlesnake Grade was allowed. , The petitionofC.il. Erwin and eight others for a road from Art Erwin's house to C. H. Erwin's thence West and North Westerly across the Shaffer farm to connect with the Market Rjad near the Southwest base of Ward Mountain was disallowed upon remonstrance of Mrs. W. B. Shaffr and others as it was shown that it was not necessary fci the accomodation of the neigh borhood. Communicated.
