OUR UNWORTHY SELVES
npO BE constantly discussing the
deflciencles of others without con
sidering our own. It a common human
falling.
It requires no special perception to
sea tli faults in those sround us, but
to discern our own, Is quite a differ
ent matter.
Indeed It la not strsng that w
balk at th effort.
It U a job that w do not Uk to
contemplate, even when w ar In a
good humor.
But If w would achieve, attain and
b highly respected, th obvious thing
to do Is to atsnd up and face th mu
sic, though th note b disquieting.
Whoever is not doing his utmost to
overcome bit own defects. It chesting
himself. .
Th Orst asna step w tak toward
self-Improvement la th on taken
arm-in-arm with seif-dlssstlsfsctlon.
We tread then on ground In a Raw
world, wbei we discover to our
smazement sins within us equal In
very respect to those w sa loudly
condemn in other.
Humans who ar living in on
sphere csnnot understand those In so
other position. They hsv been trained
In a different camp.
let each person hss hi or her own
problem to solve, its correct solution
being dependent upon Individual dis
cernment and ability.
IX by being considerate of others
w ihould pull th weeds from our
own gardens and patch op the open
fences, w might become mor chari
table. W would b so busy vercomlng
our own Imperfections, so pleasanUy
and profitably occupied, there would
b no Um at our disposal to search
for flaws in our neighbors.
Th whole world would be brighter.
Th brotherhood of men would b
knit closer together.
Men and women everywhere would
be better, mor hopeful and happy.
There would b lea heartaches and

Let na psck our hearts full of lors

Let us look flrst for defects la our
