Like tbe Industries, the railroads have many millions forested In. plant that is worth little or nothing unless freight can be moved by It. The spirit 'Q which the lumbermen and rail road men are getting together In the matter is a commendable one. We of the Pacific Northwest are all In the same boat, including the rail roads, and we prosper or fu together To imagine that either transportation or a major Industry like lumber can be denied prosperity without affect ing all of us Is to pursue a foolish dream. The brightest minds of the industries and the railroad world are working on these rate problem' as they afreet the Pacific Northwest.
