C. and Robl. Withycombe of the Union Experi ment station gave some excellent figures upon production costs. Sev eral cattlemen spoke upon the future of the beef industry and the heavy losses Incurred because of the Insta bility of the market. Everyone argu ing that the herds must be reduced for the future. Cooperative marketing discussion was opened by L. A.
