Easter Services Greatly
Enjoyed at Pine City
and Alpine School
Pine City, April 14 (Special to
The (jazelte-TiniesJ Our Easter
services were carried out as had been
plunned, regardless of the unfavor
able weather both at Pine City and
the Alpine school house. The sing
ing at each service was greatly en
joyed by all. Rev. J. T. Hoekins
preached an excellent discourse at
the morning service at Sand Hollow.
The basket dinner was up to date and
a large crowd was present to do jus
tice to It. But even after everyone
had seemed to eat his fill, there (was
much left over.
Everyone present seemed to be de
lighted with all that took place and
the verdict of the Sand Hollow peo
ple apppears to be, "let us have an
other basket dinner and social gath
ering sometime in May." The pastor
extends his thanks to those who help
ed to make the Easter services such
a fine success.
