Pat Brady of Six Prong, Wash., who has been visiting his brother Phil iu Cecil, left for llepuuer on Saturday. Mrs. Karl Farnsworth of Kliea left for lleppner on Tuesday, where she will visit for a while before return ing home. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Krebs of "The Last Camp" visited with Mr. and .Mrs. Phil Brady at their new home last Sunday. J. W. Osborn and Miss Weltha Com best visited with Mr. and Mrs. George KrebB at "The Last Camp on Saturday. Misses DoriB Mahouey and Marie Currun of lleppner were the week end guests of Mrs. Jack ilynd of "llutlerby Flats." Minor, Krebs, Matlock, Thomp son und Brady were very busy men on Monday, unloading a car of lum ber at the Cecil depot. V. Gentry shipped one thousand head of sheep from Cecil to Portland on Sunday. Gene Peuland was In charge of the shipment. Mrs. Marvel Loomis of Wasco left ou the local Sunday after spending a few days with her friend Miss Juan ita Crabtreu of "Dotheboys Hill." Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lundell am! family of Hhea left ou Thursday fur Pendleton and other towns, where they w ill visit for a few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. U. K. Duncan and daughter Mildred arrived from their Doardman ranch on Thursday and will slay ut Cecil ou their "Busy Bee" ranch for au Indefinite time. Master Herbie Ilynd und sister Mis Annie, w ho have been home for the week end, left "llutterby Flats" on Sunday for lleppner to resume their studies at high school. Wo ure glad to learn that Zenneth Logan of Fourmile, who hus had a severe attack of pneumonia, is now on the wuy to recovery. Dr. Wal ker of lone Is in attendance. W. O. Palmateer of "Windy Nook" has quite recovered from the great shock which he received at the Man kin homo on Tuesday night, and we ure glad to seo that W id can smile j ugain. Mr. und Mrs. A. Frank Gentry, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Gentry under went a successful operation in a Portland hospital the past week for the removal of a portion of the mas told bono. Mrs. W. J. Martin, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. B. F. j .Morgan, bus returned to her home In, Moro. : F. C. Willis went to Hermiston Wednesday after some horses for Mr. Cochran, one of the men working on the highway. Kenneth Willis, Paul Pettyjohn, Lloyd Morgan and Irwin Medlock, all small boyB, have visited school dur ing the lust week. The second, fourth and Beventh grades had perfect attendance this week and were favored by being dis missed five minutes early on Thurs day. Arthur Minor left his Cadillac car at E. G. Morgan's. He went there on business, but finding the roads bad, he left the car there until the roads I get better. Harry Edmonds and Bister Pearl received injuries when their horses ; which they were riding, slipped on j the snow covered ice. Marry s rigni leg was broken and Pearl received injuries to her elbow and ankle.
