Notice is hereby given that an elec tion will be held within precincU num ber one, number two, and numbei .hiee, within the proposed John Day irrigation DiBtrict in Morrow, Gilliam, and Umatilla Counties, in the Slate of Oregon, on the 23rd day of August, A. D. 1919, between the hours of eight o'clock A. M. and eight o'clock P. M. of said day, at the polling places here inafter designated, within said Dis trict for the purpose of determining whether or not the said District shall oe organized under and by virtue of -he provisions of Chapter 357 of the General Laws of Oregon for the yeai 1917.
