Mr. and Mrs. George A. Miller were Arlington visitors on Monday. John Vickers of Springfield, Mo., is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Barnes. Mrs. Peter Nash, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Nash and Hazel Dean autoed to Arlington on Friday Cecil was honored by a short visit from Jake Wells and J. A. Waters from the county seat on Friday. Miller and Olaf Johnson were amongst the guests at the Willow Creek picnic on Sunday. Willie George Wilson made a hurried trip to Heppner during the week, being accompanied by Peter Bauernfeind. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Van Scholch and children of Arlington spent Sun day with Mrs. Bennett at the Last Camp, Cecil. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Ross and family came In from Heppner and are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Medlock. Ralph Winter, wife and children left by auto on Wedneslay to visit with friends in the Yakima District and other points. Miss Ellen McFadden of Eight Mile, accompanied by Mrs. Boyce of Wasco and W. Herd were business callers in Cecil on Friday. Mrs. Lena Snell Shurte, county school superintendent and L. A. Hunt, county agent, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lundell on Thursday. F. R. Brown, secretary of the Mor row County Fair Board, was In and around Cecil on Tuesday on business in connection with the John Day Ir rigation scheme. Minor and Goorge Kjebbs re turned to the Last v Camp on Friday from Portland accompanied by Mr. Krebb's. cousin, Fred Tenderley of rortland, who intends to stay a few days in Ceoll.
