After taking In the Rose Festival they will tour over a wide section of the state and expect to be gone about two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Roberts of Hard man have taken apartments in the house of Mrs. Mattle Adkins on upper Main street and will spend a few weeks here attending to business matters. Mr. Roberts Is convalescing after a severe illness. A party consisting of Mrs. Phlll Colin, son Henry and daughter El eanor, Mrs. B. R. Patterson and the Misses Lula and Lela Campbell left Heppner Tuesday morning in the Colin Cadillac for Portland, where they will spend a week attending the Rose Show. Dr. D. R. Haylor and Dr. L. R. Purkey left Heppner Tuesday morn ing by auto for Portland. In that Mr. and. Mrs. John Her departed on Tuesday morning for Portland and the Rose Show. They expect to visit for a time in the Valley. Buseick, well known Grant county sheepman, arrived in Heppner Tuesday by auto from his anch near Hamilton and will spend everal days in Heppner on a visit.
