McCabe, who was down to town yesterday, reports that he has brought his last load of grain to the station at Jordan Siding, and Is mighty glad to be off the job for the rest of the cold days. A number of years ago, when Dick was a small fellow, he was thrown from a horse and had his nose badly smashed up. He never had the mem ber properly treated and it has caus ed a lot of trouble since. An opera tion will be performed and Dick hop es to have less trouble in the future from this source. ' The postoffice was moved on Tues day evening and Postmaster Mason now has nice quarters in the new I. O. O. F. building. The new ar rangement is very neat and con venient and our little city now has the best equipment in this line it has ever enjoyed. The office Is very centrallly located as to the business section, and if our good city fath ers will put In a new crossing on Main street leading In that direction they will receive the everlasting en comiums of a long suffering com munity Llndsey Brothers, Harry and Fred, of Sherman county have become In terested in Morrow county farm pro perty and will Join the rapidly In creasing number of thoBe who are bringing the North end of this coun ty to the front again. They have purchased the Sperry and Shanks quarters a few miles northwest of lone and will begin putting the land in shape for a crop the coming sea son, Just as soon as the weather per mits. It looks good to see these lands being brough under cultivation again, and a continuation of the pro per farming for a few seasons will make this section one of the best In the county.
