All who have heard Evan gelist Fagan, pronounce him a "live wire." Mr. Fagan leaas nis own sink ing and has the support of two good choirs. Nolan Page, son of Mrs. Laxton MoMiirmv Is alowlv recovering from the effects of a recent operation at the Heppner sanatorium, nis condi tion is reported still serious. When the O. A. C. Cadet Band ap peared in Enterprise recently, O. O. Crawford, a former student of the colleee and at one time a member nf the band, took nart in the concert. At the present time, Mr. Crawford is leading the Enterprise band. Wm. Daughty, who formerly lived at lone, writes us from Modesto, Cal., that he has taken up his residence at that place and asks to have the Gai- ette-Times sent to him there. 1 I SAVING James J. Dr. Chick reports the arrival of a new daughter at the home of Mont Bandy, of the Lexington seetlon, on Jan. the 4th. Mrs. E. F. Feldman was called to Cle Elum, Wash., on Sunday on ac count of the serious illness of her mother. Rufns Farrens and wife Teturned from a visit of a couple of weeks with relatives at Portland, Ore., and Ta coma. Wash., on Friday last. They had a pleasant time, barring the very vet weather. . , F. L. Chrlstensen, our genial drug gist, has broadened his Held of activ ity, and this week purchased the Swen Troedson farm, east of Morgan. Frank does not. contemplate entering the field of wheat farming personally, and has let the place to J. A, Troed son who will look after it for a ti m of years. This is a good farm and Frank has made no mistake in this Venture. David H, Grabill, one of our pion eer residents, has been quite sick at his home la lone for the past ten days, suffering a severe attack of grippe. He is now somewhat Improved.
