Takes Contract for Building Road on Upper Willow Creek. George B. Whitcombe, of Morgan, has accepted the contract to build nearly four miles of road on Willow creek above Heppner. Mr. Whit combe has been busy the past week establishing his campB and getting everything In working order, but has not yet placed a very large crew on the job. Before long, he expects to have a large force of men at work to rush the road to completion as rapidly as possible. The new road will run up the left side of Willow creek, connecting with the old road at the Hager bridge.
