fiodics of the action of which we know less), has not been fought to a
finish."
I would not indiscriminately condemn all drugs, any more than I
would say that all doctors who perscribe them are hypocrites and knaves.
Thtre are drug doctors in this town who have always been fair and hon
est in their dealings with the drugless doctors and there are those in our
l-ity who will take patients to the Heppner Sanatorium and refuse to let
the parents call a dmgless doctor to see the patient. After the drug
doctors have said they could do nothing more for the patient they have
refused to let the parents call a drugless physician. I have lieen re
quested and plead with by parents to go there and see their child and
iave been refused admission. Ihavegonethere.it the request of the
nearest relatives, and the patient herself, and have lieen aske to leave thed
jNinatariuni. Mr. Bernard Shaw is quoted in the McC'lure's, Jan., 1914.

Science aeainst the public, and that its object is the protection of the
doctor's livlihood and the concealment of his'errors". Dr. Richard C.
fid ot of Boston, one of the most eminent of American physicians and
assistant professor of medicine of Harvard University, says: "I can ver
ify every one of Mr. Shaw's statements in my own practice."
DRUGLESS PRACTICE "LEGITIMATE AND LAWFUL"
