"1 J ; Lebanon Express. H. Y. K1RKPATR1CK, Editor - and - Proprietor. "KEEP IT OUT PAPER.' OF THE "Keep it out of the paper," is the cry which the newspaper pub lither daily hears. To oblige often costs considerable, thongh the par ty who makes the request does not realize it. A newspaper is a peculiar piece of property in the public's eye. The news-gatherer is stormed at because he gets hold of one item, and is abused because he does not get another. Young men and often young women, as well is older arsons, perform acts which become legitimate items for publication, and then rush to the newspaper office to beg the editor nnt n nurira thair paMinnHwi. The next day tbey condemn the same . paper for not having published an other party doing the same thing thev were suiltv of, forgetting, ap parently, their late visit to the printing office. The subscribers exnect to read the news and there is J ways wonder when any of these items fail to appear in the next issne. Newspaper Man. The Express wishes its readers a merry Christmas. In the estate of Win. O. Guy and Dora Porter, final account was allowed and the guardian discharged. In estate of Samuel Pickens, will was admitted to probate. J. B. Rob erts and John Nichols executors. In estate of H. N. McCarthy, final account was filed. In estate of Hannah Bobnett, re ceipts of distributees filed. Executors discharged. In estate of Frank Llllard, A. L. Lilian! was appointed guardian. Bond 100. In estate of 6. B. Kinney, citation issued for Jan. 2nd. In estate of A. Laubner, inventory filed. Real property, U-'M; personal property, $1592; total, Hmi. In estate of Bunjuel Attridge, per sonal property ordered sold. In estate of Mary Galloway, bond POO approved. Appraisers appointed. Our young folks spent a very pleas ant time last Friday evening, at the residence of Frank Simons. About sixteen couples enlivened the house with games, and very much enjnyed the good things to eat.
